Birthday Party at The Stumble Inn

The party was a total success… Everyone didn’t get there til about 830 so the staff allowed us to change the open bar from 8:30 until 11:30 which worked out perfectly.  We had a great night and we will definitely do this again!! Thanks for everything!

Going Away Party at Jakes Dilemma

My “Going Away” party was great. The service was polite, bartenders were prompt, music was great, and my friends all agreed that my “Welcome Home” party should be at the same place. I appreciate all of the assistance and will see you guys as soon as I return!

Hey Ladies,

Thanks for all our help with the party I definitely made the right choice in having my birthday at the havana room, that place is amazing. Since then, I already had a dozen of my friends call me and ask me the name and number of the havana room because they want to have parties of their own. 25th Birthday Party at Down The Hatch

Greetings!  Thank you for checking in to see how my party went!  I had an amazing 25th Birthday and oodles of fun at Down the Hatch celebrating it!!!  Planning the open bar was really easy and there was no stress of having to guarantee a minimum number of people!  Thanks again!  I had a great birthday!

Wicked Pub Crawl Bachelor Party

We had a great time, especially the bachelor!

The manager at The Stumble Inn ran things very smoothly.

The food was very good and drink service was quick. I thought he and his staff did a great job. I would definitely recommend.

Only regret was that we made it to just 3 out of the 5 bars. Everyone was having a blast at The Gin Mill that we lost track of time.

Baby’s Christening at the Havana Room

Hello girls! Thank you for everything. We had a wonderful party for our baby Timothy’s christening. Everything was so nice & the food was delicious! Courtney was a doll-so helpful & on top of everything. Zach was also wonderful-great bartender. We would love to have another party there again in the future-only next time we wouldn’t order so much food-we  had so much left over! Thanks again!

Please accept my apologies for not responding sooner — things have been a bit hectic in the last few weeks since my book launch.  Thank you so much for making my book launch party such a huge success.  All my guests commented on how good the food was, the drinks were great and the space was perfect.  The only glitch was the air conditioning which I know you all did you best to address.

I would definitely consider having another party there again and will recommend it to my friends.

Again, thanks for all the care and attention and flexibility — it was exactly what I was looking for.

Wicked Pub Crawl for a Bachelorette Party

Our bachelorette party last Saturday went GREAT! Right from the start, I have to thank and commend Niki for her wonderful service to me while planning this event. There were many times that I emailed her to make some changes and ask questions; and Niki was quick to respond and always very friendly and accomodating to my needs for the event. She is a WONDERFUL asset to the Eat, Drink and Be Merry team. Thank you, Niki.

When we arrived to The Stumble Inn, Manny was extremely helpful and friendly. From the moment we walked in to the restaurant to the moment we left dinner to go into the limo, he made sure that we had his and the limo driver’s contact information in case we needed anything during the night. He was very professional; he let us know when the limo was ready to leave after dinner; was sure to introduce us to the limo driver, and even walked us out to the limo when dinner was over. Once again, I was extremely pleased with the service that Manny gave us while we began our bachelorette party. He was excellent.

The Sex Educator was great. She was professional and fun! I won’t go into too much detail about it, but it was a really good time – and funny! It was great to see the bride-to-be’s reaction once she realized who and what the Sex Educator was in our limo for! (Everything was a surprise). Great “crash course!”

While we visited the other bars during the bar crawl, every bartender was quick to serve us and have fun with us. They were friendly and happy to join our celebration to the Bride-To-Be. When we asked them if they would take our picture, there was never any hesitation or annoyance – they were pleased to take pictures and spend a couple minutes talking with us. Any time we went up to the bar to order more cocktails, they would come to help us immediately. They were really fun and even made a point to say goodbye as we left the bars.

As you can see, we were all very happy with the bachelorette party, and the Bride-to-be will never forget the night! She hasn’t stopped talking about it, which is the best part. Overall, I am most impressed on the exceptional service from every person that helped us throughout the night. You have a really great team!

I only have one, small piece of constructive criticism – the bars should play the music louder to get people dancing and singing.

Great job planning and helping out with our event! It was unforgettable, and I would definitely love to plan another party with Eat, Drink and Be Merry again in the future!

Surprise 30th Birthday at the Havana Room

My husband’s 30th Birthday party was a huge success, thanks to you guys.  Everyone at the party complimented the food, and we had some picky people!  It was such a relief to leave the party planning to the experts.  We are already trying to figure out another reason to throw a party at the Havana Room.

Thanks again for all of your help in making the PwC After Softball party a success.  We have done many events with you in the past at your other venues and it is always a pleasure doing business with you.  All of you girls were very helpful in organizing the party and it was also very easy to get in touch with you.  Special thanks to Eric the bartender who put in special effort on the day of our event by ensuring that everything was running smoothly.  More importantly, that the partners were having a good time as well.  We will be in touch for the next upcoming PwC event.

Post Wedding Party in The Speakeasy

Sorry for taking so long to get back to you, with the wedding (and of course honeymoon), it has taken us some time to get around to all of our thank yous.

We were very pleased with all aspects of the party.   The venue was perfect, the food was good, and the drink was plentiful.   We received many compliments from our guests, and a good and memorable time was had by all.

However, the successful party wasn’t just the result of good food and a well-decorated space, it was the service that really made the difference.

The entire staff of Eat, Drink & Be Merry and the Gin Mill deserves some credit, however some people need to personally recognized.

First of all, Niki did an outstanding job organizing the event.  She accommodated our every request (and there were a lot of them) and she assisted us with every step of the planning.   She reviewed our food and drink orders and made sure that we were getting the best deal for our money.

Eric the bartender was on top of things all night.   Service at the bar was fast and friendly, and he even doubled as our “DJ” helping us out with the iPod and sound system.

And finally, Heather, our party planner, made sure everything came together.  She had the room set up exactly as we requested, was attentive throughout the night, and made sure everything went off without a hitch.  She really went the extra mile, literally.  At the end of the night she helped us carry our bags and other belongings back to the hotel room.

We were very pleased with the service provided by Eat, Drink & Be Merry and the party hosted by the Gin Mill (Speakeasy Room).  We would definitely recommend this service to a friend, and will keep them in mind for future parties.

Thank you for making our wedding after-party such a memorable event.
