Just wanted to thank you for all of your help in organizing our Cancer Crusher Fundraiser last Saturday. 

Everything was flawless! The bartender Rich was super helpful and attentive the whole time, as was the bouncer and the barback. 

The space itself couldn’t have been better for our event- everyone had a blast and most importantly we were able to raise money for a great cause!

Hi Brittany,

Wanted to get back to you with some feedback from our event.  The whole process, from initial information to organizing and finalizing the details down to the night of the event were all handled wonderfully.  We were able to raise close to $900 for our fundraiser and had a great time doing it!

The staff the night of the fundraiser was super helpful and were a huge part of the event being a huge success.

Since we did have such a great response, we were actually wondering if we could do another event through Eat, Drink and Be Merry!  Also, I’m sure we have some ideas as to where the company’s profits to charity can go one month 🙂Let me know if you’d like me to fill out a form about hosting another event and thank you again for all of your help!



I can’t thank you enough for helping me put this together!!! Everything went smoothly, thanks to you and everyone else that contributed to it.  Everyone at the event had a great time and only had great things to say about 3 Sheets Saloon and the staff that was working that night.

Thanks for checking in. The event was a huge success. I think we were able to sell around 155 tickets in total.

Everyone was great from the doorman, to the manager, to the bartenders.

Thanks for the follow-up mail. We all had a great time at our party last Thursday night! From the get-go you were most helpful in the informational and planning process. Initially, my main concern was that we would only have 2 bartenders for approximately 100 plus people and both did an outstanding and efficient job. Additionally, I checked with both bartenders at the end of the night to make sure they felt they were taken care of was so impressed with their gratitude and honesty.

Overall, Eat, Drink & Be Merry was exceptional and the event was memorable! I will recommend you to those planning future parties and look forward to working with Eat, Drink & Be Merry down the road.

My event at 3 Sheets was excellent! The bouncer did a great job collecting $ and making sure that nobody got in without paying. The bartender was very attentive, friendly, and accommodating. The manager stopped by to check on things mid-way through and made a modified Mint drink for me since I didn’t like the whiskey in our Mint Juleps. He was very professional when dividing the money between the bar and the Charity Profit so there was no confusion. The beerpong tables were set up in the back of the room so it was not a distraction from the people who wanted to mingle and chat by the bar. And we were so happy to have the Kentucky Derby stationed on the TV’s! We also greatly appreciated the bouncer alerting us when they were opening up the floor to the public and to make sure we collected our belongings beforehand. Overall, it was a great experience from the planning & coordinating phases with Eat, Drink, and Be Merry that carried through to the final event. I would highly recommend both Eat, Drink, and Be Merry and 3 Sheets to any of my friends for future events.

Hi All,

I just wanted to thank you for helping out The Grit Theatre Company with our fundriaser. Eric was great that night, helping us achieve our goals. Having to switch our date back a week took a toll on us, because many of our guests were on vacation, but we manged to make it a pretty successful night. We are planning more fundraisers for the fall and winter seasons, and we will definitely keep Eat Drink and be Merry in mind for our parties.

Well as always my party at the Gin Mill was a huge success.  For the past two years, the Bar Manager had been Louie (who was great don’t get me wrong), but this year it was Heather and she was wonderful!  She called me a few days before the event to make sure I didn’t have any questions, and hours before the event even started, the Gin Mill was beautifully set up and ready to go.  In addition to what Heather did to prepare, I must say that the recent construction at the Gin Mill is great!  The flat screen tv’s being up against the wall make the room appear bigger and things just look ‘newer’…we loved it.  The waitress, Chloe, was also a huge help and couldn’t be nicer.  We had over 100 people make their way into the Gin Mill last Saturday afternoon so hopefully that was good news for the Gin Mill!  My roommate and I are already talking about next year’s event!  I have loved every minute w/ the Gin Mill and Eat, Drink, and Be Merry…you make planning events stress-free and are completely professional and reliable.  Thanks!  I already reserved the Speak Easy room for marathon Sunday, so I’ll see you all soon enough! =)

I meant to email you on Monday… sorry for the delay!  The event was truly a success and a great time was had by all.  We raised over $1200 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.  I hope to do an event with you in the future.

Hey Gals-

Our party was a great success!  Everyone kept commenting on how nice the space was and how good the food was (particularly the sliders).  We’ve had parties at a couple other bars in NYC and the difference with the Havana Room was that we had our OWN open space, flexibility (no problem bringing in a Karaoke machine or huge posters people were writing on), and the staff was super helpful and nice.  Plus, you made planning the party easy by offering food suggestions, allowing us to have a cash bar, and answering all our questions. 

The only downside was that at times it felt a little cramped–I think we ended up having about 150 people and the site says it can accommodate 200–but that was probably because we had a buffet set up, so that took up room, and the karaoke machine and speakers also took up a lot of room. So that was mainly our fault because we didn’t think about how that would affect space and I don’t even think we told you we were bringing karaoke. And it really wasn’t a big deal because people are used to that in NY. 

Also, you let us give our leftover food to a homeless member of the church and that was an unexpected but appreciated bonus. As a church, it’s hard to find places that will be considerate of our needs, which are probably different than a lot of other clients.

We would definitely work with you guys for another event in the future. Thank you so much!!!
