Thanks for a great job on my wife Heather’s birthday party.  All the staff was fantastic and the Havana Room is simply THE BEST private party space on the Upper East Side.  I especially appreciate the time and effort put in by Niki for the multiple times I changed dates, menus, contracts……..

I will without a doubt happily throw future events there.

Baby Shower in The Havana Room

Good Morning Guys,

Just want to thank you guys from the bottom of my heart for a wonderful, stress-free baby shower. Everything was picture perfect. The food was presented in an elegant way and was very delicious. The space was cozy and classy. And the best part was I did not have to stay and clean up afterwards! All of my invites asked me where did I find this place and were so pleased with the event. I could not have asked for a better shower! Thanks for all of your help, your feedback, and your attention to my event!

I will be recommending you guys to anyone looking for the perfect party room for their event.

The event was a great success and people had a very good time. Planning process, space, and your staff were terrific. A small item- the food was very good but the hot appetizers soon became room temperature and were not re-heated. But overall people were very pleased, and I would recommend Eat, Drink & be merry. 40th Birthday Party in The Havana Room

I meant to email you guys sooner.  My party was such a success at The Havana Room on Oct 10th.   Thank you for everything.  Everyone was so helpful in putting the party together.  My guests had a great time.  The staff was great.  Everyone especially liked Marlin the DJ.

My only suggestion would be to have some sort of coat rack for coats and jackets.  Not sure how that would work given the size of the room.

Again, thank you.  I would definitely recommend you to friends and family.

12th Birthday Party in the Havana Room

Hi All,

The party on Sunday went very well.  Julie was excellent – very helpful, very responsive, very personable,  And the rest of the restaurant personnel was also.  The food was perfect for the kids.  They devoured it.  The DJ wasn’t too loud for the space and the kids really enjoyed him.  You might consider that company if you need additional DJs.  They are called SoundExplosion.

One funny story…..  Because the kids were going outside more than what was comfortable for me and Julie, she put a “large person” at the door to stop the kids from roaming outside.  It somehow got around to the kids in her class that this person was my daughter’s bodyguard.  We had good laugh and my daughter felt very special.

Fantasy Football Draft in the Havana Room

Hello all-

Just wanted to take the time to provide some feedback (which I don’t normally do) because we had such a great experience at our fantasy draft.

The space couldn’t of been more perfect.  We had an appropriate size table set up to accomodate our group, the televisions put on to the appropriate stations, and our every need was catered to.

The only thing better than the room was our waitress- she very friendly, helpful, and professional.  She kept our pitchers full the entire evening and did a wonderful job at managing our at times rowdy group.  Even when the draft was over, we were given time to finish our drinks and take our time leaving the room.  We couldn’t of been more pleased.

The feedback I got from everyone in our league was that they had a phenomenal time.  We’ve been doing drafts for a number of years (at a different bar every year) and I think this was the best one yet.

My only complaint would be all the pitchers and shots I did during the draft (and especially afterwards next door) and the fact that I have very little recollection of the latter part of the evening.  Oh and I somehow misplaced my blackberry.  But I can hardly blame you guys for that.

Since then, I already had a dozen of my friends call me and ask me the name and number of the havana room because they want to have parties of their own. Baby’s Christening at the Havana Room

Hello girls! Thank you for everything. We had a wonderful party for our baby Timothy’s christening. Everything was so nice & the food was delicious! Courtney was a doll-so helpful & on top of everything. Zach was also wonderful-great bartender. We would love to have another party there again in the future-only next time we wouldn’t order so much food-we  had so much left over! Thanks again!

Book Release Party

Please accept my apologies for not responding sooner — things have been a bit hectic in the last few weeks since my book launch.  Thank you so much for making my book launch party such a huge success.  All my guests commented on how good the food was, the drinks were great and the space was perfect.  The only glitch was the air conditioning which I know you all did you best to address.

I would definitely consider having another party there again and will recommend it to my friends.

Again, thanks for all the care and attention and flexibility — it was exactly what I was looking for.

My husband’s 30th Birthday party was a huge success, thanks to you guys.  Everyone at the party complimented the food, and we had some picky people!  It was such a relief to leave the party planning to the experts.  We are already trying to figure out another reason to throw a party at the Havana Room.

Just wanted to say that the party was a hit and my husband and I would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything!  Not only was the set up of the room perfect, the food was beyond my expectations, and everyone loved it.  In addition the staff was attentive and courteous, I couldn’t have asked for more.  It was the perfect ending to a great day.  And may I add that one of the best parts about having the party at The Havana Room is the fact that The Stumble Inn is adjacent to our party room.  As soon as our party was done we were able to keep the party going at The Stumble Inn.  Once more I would like to thank the Eat, Drink & Be Merry family for helping me throw the best party and for having such a professional and wonderful staff!

Welcome Home Party in The Havana Room

Hi guys,

Thank you all for a great party experience. It was easy to plan the party with you, and the party staff there the night of our party were all very helpful, professional and accommodating to me and my guests.  The Havana Room on a mid-June night was a really enjoyable venue for our smallish group of 30 to 35, and everyone had a fun time. The food was tasty and well presented — the hot foods were kept warm and our left-overs were carefully packed up for us, per our request. The bar staff were also very helpful and carefully followed the plan we set up beforehand regarding variety of drinks and estimated budget. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Eat, Drink & Be Merry again — you guys definitely lived up to your name for our party, and helped made it a memorable one!
