Thanks for your follow up.  The party was AMAZING!!  My brother was thrilled and had an absolute blast.  The whole team at the Gin Mill was so helpful and kind (a bartender even ran out to Starbucks to get my mom a coffee during the evening!) and the room was gorgeous.

25th Birthday Party at The Speakeasy

This was the second time I’ve used your company, this was also the second time I’ve had a flawless birthday. I can not thank Eat, Drink & Be Merry enough. Every girl makes a big deal out of their birthday, I tend to be let down because it never lives up to my expectations except for hosting with EDBM. I can honestly say I don’t think I would host anywhere else then one of your locations, hands down. I am still being thanked by my party guests for inviting them!! The bartender, was great. He was tentative, funny, patient, & sweet. Anyone that I have spoken to makes me feel like I am the only party they are dealing with, it’s easy, quick and flexible to plan. Definitely will be planning again, shortly.

Surprise 45th Birthday at The Speakeasy

Hi Guys,

Just wanted to let you all know that Nick and I JUST woke up from such an amazing party at the Gin Mill.  We celebrated Nicks 45th birthday on Saturday, April 7th and it was amazing!  Everyone had such a great time.  The food was awesome, the service was great!  I can’t remember everyone’s name but the bartender, Molly, was great and so helpful.  Security staff was very discreet and on top of his game.  The gentleman that set up the tv’s for my video and explained everything to me was great.  I wish I could remember his name.  

But most of all, you guys were great! I can’t believe how easy you all made this.  One phone call and a few emails later and voila! a perfect party.   I would highly recommend you guys to my friends. I can’t stress just how GREAT GREAT GREAT everything was.  (excuse my using the word great so much but I can’t think of any other way to describe it )

30th Birthday Party at The Speakeasy

Hi Brittany, 

I found Eat, Drink & Be Merry to be extremely accommodating! I am a CRAZY type A personality and contacted Niki one full year before my event date. We emailed back and forth for about a month before we found the perfect package  for my party. I told Niki what I wanted (i.e. top shelf, food, 3 hours open bar, etc.), my estimated number of guests and my budget; after that she did the rest. All of my requests were met including streaming music and a beer pong table set up. The night of the party, Eric was great!! He took amazing care of us and the party ran very smoothly. The food was outstanding! I was definitely very impressed. I had a strict timeline which the staff stuck to. All in all we could not have been happier! The Speakeasy is a beautiful room, with an ultra cool vibe and staffed with amazing people! Thanks again!

My husband and all of our guests said his 30th birthday was the BEST they have attended yet!

Corporate Office Party at The Speakeasy

The event was very successful and so much fun! Our group appreciated the signage that was posted outside and inside the bar.  The food (fried Oreos!) and service was great as well. It was unfortunate that a few of our guest could not make it but everyone that did come made them regret missing the party the next day.

Thank you for following up with me. Also, they said out of all the venues (and we have been to a lot) in NY, this was their favorite.

Fundraiser at The Speakeasy

Thanks so much for helping plan our party at the Gin Mill!  Everything went perfectly smooth and it couldn’t have been any better.  The staff put signs all over so our guests knew where to go, and were very accommodating.  The Speakeasy room was awesome, can’t beat having your own bathroom for all the guests.  The food was really good and all of our guests had an awesome time.

30th Birthday Party at The Speakeasy

I just wanted to let you know that everything about my party – from start to finish – was perfect!  It was my 30th, and I was very stressed out leading up to it.  I just wanted to find a private place where I could be with my friends and listen to the music that I like.  The party at the speakeasy was that and more.  All of my friends had an amazing time and some even said they want to have their birthday at the speakeasy now!  It was so easy to make the reservation and everyone I spoke to on the phone was kind and helpful.  The information that was given to me about making the reservation was very clear, all my questions were answered, and there were no surprises when I got there.  The bartender and staff at the party were really nice and accommodating.  Everything ran smoothly.  We had great music, great drinks, a place to hang our coats, a beer pong table, and we were able to bring a cake and cut the cake at midnight to kick off my actual birthday.  Nobody had to wait online outside to get in and nobody had to wait for a drink.  I just wanted to thank everyone who helped make my 30th birthday party a success.  I will certainly recommend your services to all of my friends and I would gladly return to celebrate again in the future.  Thank you again!

The party was great!  It was so nice not to be rushed out of the room after the time had expired, and the bar tender was very accommodating to a woman who had several food allergies that we had no idea about.  The whole experience was great and I am looking forward to having more parties there!! Memorial Service at the Speakeasy in The Gin Mill

Hi there,

Yes. Feedback. The event was a memorial for a dear friend of ours who died very suddenly and very young. She was very youthful and had had a crazy life. Your event space, the Speakeasy, provided an intimate, private space, but it also didn’t feel too memorial-y. 

From the planning phase with EDBM, to the day-of coordination with Eric, the experience was great. We had a budget and you guys helped me navigate the pitfalls of planning a party for 40+ guests. There was plenty of food. Plenty to drink.
