28th Birthday Party Bar Crawl Between Gin Mill and Jakes Dilemma

The party was a great success, everyone had  a great time.  The staff was awesome and I appreciated the call from Heather the manager to make sure there were no last minute requests.  The birthday boy also got his bracelet for free.  Planning was a total breeze thanks to Eat, Drink and Be Merry.  This was my first experience planning a party and you can be sure that I will be using your services again next time.  Thanks so much for a totally memorable night!

29th Birthday Party at The Gin Mill

The party went GREAT! You girls are awesome to work with. Your recommendation was right on target. The Gin Mill was the perfect spot for my boyfriend’s 29th birthday. I was almost not let in bc the bouncer said I didn’t look like the person in my ID, but that’s ok! Haha.I will definitely recommend you to anyone looking to book an open bar party in the city. Birthday Party at Off The Wagon

The party went great, no problems whatsoever.  The only thing I would say is that regarding the free admission after 15 admitted guests, if the person hosting the party gets there early, which he or she should, he or she would not be able to benefit from this perk.  After all, it is their birthday, shouldn’t they be able to party for free?  Due to my delayed train ride into Manhattan, I did get the comped admission, but had I gotten there on time I would not have been able to use the comp at all.  Other than this small detail everything was done very professionally from planning to execution and I will definitely be recommending you.

Surprise 30th Birthday Party in The Havana Room

Thanks for a great job on my wife Heather’s birthday party.  All the staff was fantastic and the Havana Room is simply THE BEST private party space on the Upper East Side.  I especially appreciate the time and effort put in by Niki for the multiple times I changed dates, menus, contracts……..

I will without a doubt happily throw future events there.

Birthday Party in The Speakeasy Room

The party was great as usual! You guys always make everything so easy! And I have been getting rave reviews from many of the guests.  They were particularly impressed with The Speakeasy room itself, and I have already been told to do it again next year!

Only thing I heard on the negative end was from my brother in law who thought that all the TVs were distracting… maybe you could ask people if they want the TVs on or not?

Open Bar at The Stumble Inn

Hi ! I’ve done a lot of open bars for my friends when they come from out of state and this was honestly my best experience. Even before you wrote this email, I was already thinking of writing to you guys. I know I made the process as confusing as possible, but I was still able to get the party in. I responded late to the email on Friday, so I figured your office was closed. I had a bunch of people coming in from CT, so just I decided to call the bar just in case. I explained everything and Jake called right back. So thanks so much again. It was my first time at Stumble Inn and it was so much better than any other open bar, like I said before. So much more room, bouncers were nice, bartenders were on top of their game, busy but were still extremely nice. Definitely  thinking about coming back in December, as per my friends requests. The event was a great success and people had a very good time. Planning process, space, and your staff were terrific. A small item- the food was very good but the hot appetizers soon became room temperature and were not re-heated. But overall people were very pleased, and I would recommend Eat, Drink & be merry. The party went great.  I received a a call in the morning to confirm or go over any last minute details which was nice.  At the actual party, the waitress was extremely attentive and friendly.  I would definitely recommend this to others!

Hi,

I meant to email you guys sooner.  My party was such a success at The Havana Room on Oct 10th.   Thank you for everything.  Everyone was so helpful in putting the party together.  My guests had a great time.  The staff was great.  Everyone especially liked Marlin the DJ.

My only suggestion would be to have some sort of coat rack for coats and jackets.  Not sure how that would work given the size of the room.

Again, thank you.  I would definitely recommend you to friends and family.
