Birthday Party at Down The Hatch

Dear Christine, Kate, Ali, Niki, and Mike, 
 
My Birthday party at Down the Hatch was everything I wished for and so much more.  Not only were you guys extremely helpful and made everything very easy to plan but the party went off without any problems.  The staff at the bar were extremely friendly and were well aware of what I had planned.  I want to say thank you very much for making the planning very easy and helping create a terrific party.  If I am to have another party I will surely go through Eat Drink and Be Merry.

Wicked Pub Crawl

Everything went great from the time I booked the event right up until the last guy was dropped off in the limo.  I was very surprised at how efficient everybody was.  I received a call from EDBM the night before the event just to go over some protocol.  Thirty minutes before dinner was over, the limo escort met me and also went over some guidelines.  The help at the bars were very receptive, and our limo driver Ramsys was friendly and warm. It was a great night.  I received numerous compliments from my friends the next day.  I would highly recommend EDBM to friends.

30th Birthday Party in the Havana Room

Everything was awesome.  Literally, the only downside that either I or my wife experienced was the fact that the party had to end.  The Havana Toom looks better in person than in the pictures, Megan and the rest of the staff were very attentive, the food and service were great, and all your help with my personal budget worked out perfectly.  I couldn’t have asked for more.
I’m going to have a very hard time outdoing this party in the future.

Birthday Party at Down The Hatch

Everything went great.  I think we more than doubled our guarantee.  I didn’t hear any complaints from anyone there so all in all it was a good time.  The staff was friendly, the drinks were cheap, and the food was good.  Most of us stayed until they closed at 4am.  I have a lot of friends that like to have their parties in NY and I will definitetly recommend you to them.

1st Birthday Party in The Havana Room

25th Birthday Party in The Oak Cellar

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at the Oak Cellar.  The service was excellent and the room was exactly what we wanted.  Our bartender was friendly and attentive, the manager was present throughout much of the night to ensure our party’s success, and the food was replenished without asking.  Our friends are still talking about the party and I think we may have generated a lot of business for you in the future!  We will, without a doubt, use you guys for our next party because our experience was so easy and pleasant.
Further, our representative Kate was really fantastic. She responded quickly to all questions I had and was available throughout the entire process. She was really excellent!

Going Away Party in The Speakeasy

All of our guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves.  We had a farewell party for two colleagues that were leaving Columbia University.  The location of the Speakeasy (Gin Mill) was great as it is only a few blocks from the subway.  The staff was friendly and attentive.  Although the food was only bar food, everyone raved at how great the sliders, wings and shrimp shumai tasted.  The day of the event, we had one guest tell us that they are kosher and that she would not be able to have anything on the buffet.  I called, was advised to speak to the manager when we arrived, the manager gave her the bar menu and she selected from those options.  Having the private room with private bathrooms was really a bonus so that our guests didn’t have to wade through the bar crowd and we were able to turn down the music for speeches.
Thanks again.  We will definitely plan on having future events with you.

I’ve been meaning to drop you a line since the party but have just gotten too busy.  The party was absolutely awesome and everyone had a blast.  Thanks a lot for putting it together for me and dealing with all of the date changes we had.  I know it was a huge pain for you and I really appreciate you dealing with all of our nonsense.  I’m friends with a group of very lazy (and disorganized, obviously) people so I really doubt we would have put together anything close to what you guys did for us.  Both bachelors had a really great time.  I’ve used you guys in the past and will definitely continue to do so as long as my friends keep getting married.  Thanks again.

30th Birthday Party at The Havana Room

The party was a huge success!! Everyone really enjoyed the space, the food, and of course….the beer pong!! We ate, we drank, and we all made merry.
I feel terrible that I don’t remember the name of the female manager working that night, because she was an absolute delight.  She was very sweet and extremely accommodating, as were the doorman and bartender.
I really was so pleased with the evening and was just thrilled by how smoothly everything went.  I cannot wait to plan another party at one of your spaces.
